I just read this and it’s totally done a number to my head. I love the motivation and reassurance that it’s normal to not be stick thin. But it got me thinking. I don’t know how to love my body!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!
Like, I seriously don’t know how to love my body. Ever since I was 13 I’ve been overweight. I’m not severely overweight, at 5’11 I wear a modest size 12 and I can’t get over FEELING SO HUGE! I accept my larger friends, but cringe at my own reflection.
This is partially because of my giant status, in pictures I stand out like the “larger than life” horse at the fair. And…this is bothering me. Why is everyone else in my life so short and petite??
How did you learn to love yourself? Flaws and all?
